Welcome to our Annapolis cottage on Archwood Avenue — a classic, light-filled home with the kind of hardwood floors, built-in glass cabinets, and arched doorways that give it real Annapolis character, paired with the comforts you actually want on vacation. We sit directly across the street from Spa Creek, with peekaboo water views from the primary bedroom and dining room at certain times of year, and easy access to a shared dock right across the street where our kayaks are yours to use.
Downstairs you’ll find two queen bedrooms plus a private office with a futon (great as a fifth sleeping space for a couple or a kid), and a full bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
Upstairs are two more bedrooms: an unusually spacious kids’ room with two twin beds, and a king primary bedroom with that peekaboo creek view, sharing a second full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
The kitchen is fully equipped for everyday cooking, and the adjoining TV room is an easy place to unwind after a day on the water or downtown. Out back you’ve got a private parking area, a grill, an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the creek or the beach, Adirondack chairs around a fire pit, and plenty of grass for kids to run. (The yard isn’t fenced, so keep that in mind if you’re traveling with little ones). Out front, a covered porch is a lovely spot for morning coffee.
We’re about 1 mile from downtown Annapolis and 0.6 miles from the shops and restaurants of historic West Street — close enough to walk or take a quick rideshare, but far enough to enjoy a genuinely quiet, residential neighborhood at the end of the day.

Guest access: Guests have full access to the entire home, the back and front yards, the covered porch, and the kayaks for use at the shared dock across the street.
Other things to note: This home is best suited to families and groups of friends looking for a relaxed, low-key stay — it’s a quiet residential street and not a spot for parties or large gatherings. We love hosting guests who want to enjoy the water, explore historic Annapolis, and relax in a real neighborhood setting.
Pets are not permitted at this property.
There are a few steps to access the front and back doors of this property.
Guests will enter the property from the back door (where the driveway is).
We’ll follow up with a short online registration once you book. It’s fast, simple, and helps us prepare for your visit. Non-Airbnb guests will be asked to pay a small damage waiver OR refundable deposit.
For extra flexibility, consider adding trip insurance for a nominal fee. It can cover you if you need to cancel at the last minute.
